5 minute meditation- Repeat prayer, memorize, wait quietly - Psalm 62:5-8

This meditation is inspiration from Psalm 62:5-8. 

1. Find a quiet place for this time with God.
2. Prepare by reading Psalm 62:5-8.  Here is the New Living Translation:
   1. 5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. 
      6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 
      7 My salvation and my honor depend on God ; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 
      8 Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
3. Before you begin, ask God to fill you with life from Christ.  Take some slow and deep inhales and exhales, as you invite God.   Practice that type of breathing as you do this exercise.
4. Simply repeat the prayer language you hear in the recording.  Note it is recorded in a prayer language of the heart. 
5. Play the recording 5 times.  Repetition will seed the truth more deeply in your heart.  it will help you remember the scripture.  It will help you center your thoughts on God. 
6. After, stop the recording and wait silently before Him.  Be receptive to any way He may work in you.   Talk to God about ways you want to trust in Him more.
7. Be blessed in this time alone with God!
